Slotted Angle vs Heavy Duty Racks: Which One Do You Need?

Two of the most popular systems we manufacture are slotted angle racks and heavy duty racks. They look similar but serve very different needs.

Slotted angle racks

Bolt-together, fully adjustable and highly economical, slotted angle racks carry 100–250 kg per level. They are perfect for godowns, stores, archives and light-to-medium loads where flexibility and cost matter most.

Heavy duty racks

When you are storing tonnes — bulky goods, palletised loads or dense raw material — heavy duty racks carry 500 kg to 2 tonnes per level on welded-and-bolted structures designed for forklift access.

The middle ground

Our heavy duty slotted angle rack bridges the two: 60×40 mm angle with 14G shelves delivers serious capacity at slotted-angle pricing — the most preferred system for industrial godowns.
