How to Care for Powder-Coated Steel Racks and Make Them Last

Powder-coated steel is tough, but a little care keeps it looking and performing its best.

Inspect regularly

Check beams, clips and uprights periodically for damage from impacts. Replace damaged components rather than overloading compromised sections.

Keep within rated loads

Always store within the rated capacity per level and distribute load evenly. Display the load chart near the racking.

Clean gently

Wipe with a mild detergent and soft cloth. Avoid abrasives that can scratch the powder coat.
